About
I am an expert in teaching all phases of photography by degrees and experience. Film or digital, I am also well versed in composition, shooting styles and camera selection and operation. I've taught students ages 10 through 80, and, have permanent certification from New York State in photography and multi media.
All types of photography and cameras. Darkroom techniques and digital are specialties.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet and greet. Discuss their experience with phography. Their camera needs and critique their photos. Show and teach the fundamentals including composition, angles, leaders and subject matter. Go on field trips to shoot. Teach basic indoor and outdoor photography. Critique methods, basic photoshop elements.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rochester Institute of Technology, B.S. in Phography and Graphic Arts. M.S. in iInstructional Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology. Taught ages 10 through 80 for many years. A media producer for many years. Documentaries in major museums in Israel, YouTube and universities. A summer photographer at the Boston Globe when I was 14. Won photo contests at Boston Globe and the International 3M photo contest. Produced hundreds of employees from Eastman Kodak and others for a year before retirement at 50 years old. Taught photography at Fairport Central Schools, grages 7-9. Orange Academy, grades 9-12. Jewish community of Delray Beach 65-85. Torah Academt of Boca Raton,9-12. Tutor for ages 40+.
