Oberdick Photography
About
I have been a professional photographer for over 35 years. I did all types of photography. Portrait commercial architectural wedding and table top.
I switched from Film to digital in the late 90s. Since that time I have tried to make digital images look like images that came from Film. I do not use inkjet material, and only use labs that use photographic materials.
I am a purest, I only used tray processing for B&W, and printed my own color using a color processor.
My web site is Oberdickphotograpy.co. I started by purchasing an existing photographic studio in 1971. I relocated my studio to my home in 1980. I built a new studio and remodeled my basement to put in my darkroom. I worked for the UofM from ages 15-20, starting by doing strictly B&W darkroom film and print prossesing. I bought Palmer Studio in 1971. All of my training was as a hands on apprentice.
My awards are raising three daughters(with out a spouse) I have hurried many photographic shows.
