About
Art lessons versatile to fit individual student based on study of their styles and skills, student get a unique lesson that help them achive the next goal.
It’s a skill and technique building lessons not like most art lessons.
I have been helping many students and artists to uplift their skill and techniques on painting and drawing since 1983. My method is build upon years of practices but I have found few short-cuts, I help students to reach the goal they set in very short time.
In most cases I start with drawing training in very short course and soon move to color retention training, this may sound difficult but once you start to do it, it flows like water. My past students including all levels and all age from third grade to the senior, and from beginner to practice artist.
I teach all media, drawing in pencil, charcoal, color pencil, markers, watercolor, acrylic, oil and pastel. I also teach Photoshop.
I did life demos in art associations at San Francisco Bay Area, moved to Tampa Area two years ago.
Awards in Santa Clara watercolor association, Los Gatos Art Association.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students come here for learning a new skill, and the process pretty much like apprenticeship but the path is base on student schedule and practice time.
First section in every lesson I will do a demo or go over a certain topic, after that student will practice on the rest of the class what just learn, the result will be check by me and give suggestion to further practice more.
A perfect learning path is: learn new technique with me every other week but student definitely need practice what they learned in the following week until we meet again.
My lesson is skill building, not Bob Ross style, student will built confidence and prepared them to solve all painting or drawing problems by themself.
Before the first lesson, I will
1. Ask student what is his/her favorite artists or styles.
2. Have them submit sample of their current works.
3. Give time frame and work with their time schedule to finish goal.
For some student, probably will ask to do a accessment test on color and shape, to better improve their skill set.
