I am an artist of 27 years, an art therapist and yoga teacher. I ha e taught at the elementary, middle school and university levels. I teach privately and provide art therapy per request. I am mostly abstract and focus on color and movement.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We talk ahead of time to see what they are interested in. Gather supplies, set up a time on Zoom for a virtual art lesson!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in visual art, MA in Art Therapy, certified K-12 teaching certification and expirtence at the University level I have taught art for 26 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge 25 dollars for 45 minute session and 40 for 1.5 hours
How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching all my life. I taught about skin care in my teens, was tn theatre, taught at community centers and public schools as well as university.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from 2-80 all skill levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently taught abstract painting to a group of 9 year olds. We did a Picasso style they were so delighted to see the outcome and we had so much fun.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with a person who makes you feel good when you speak to them. One who believes eceryone is an artist.
