My name is Douglas and with over twenty-five years of practical and professional experience working within the medium I can assist in educating, beginning with the basics of your camera and, if applicable, the basic photoshop needs most amateurs and semi-professionals need to further their craft.

All you will need is a camera with fully manual settings (D-SLR, mirrorless system, 35mm film, etc.) with a manual focus lens.

I ask that you bring a strong interest in learning the visual medium.

At which point we begin with basic camera functions. What is an f-stop, shutter speed, etc.

I will also cover composition, what equipment works best for certain subjects, among many other things. All of which will add to the enjoyment found in photography.
