    Marcelo's health training is the real deal. I'd done sports most of my life before starting this fitness regiment, but not much in the realm of weight lifting. Marcelo taught me how to lift with proper form was good about making corrections without being overly critical. Since working with him I've become much stronger, and overall healthier. He does a great job of recommending proper diet and nutrition for your specific fitness goals and you will see results. In six months of working with him I saw a 80lb increase in both my squat and deadlift maxes and a 60lb increase in bench max. It also prepared me to be able to eventually create my own routine and plan. Marcelo is one of the best choices for a trainer you could ask for and will definitely set you up for success!

FAQs


What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I typically ask as many questions about goals, willingness to achieve goals, timelines, and restrictions. From there I set up a basic plan and make adjustments every two weeks to keep up with progress and work around friction spots.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Certified Advanced Sports Nutition Specialist through Institute of Natural Body Man

Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. 

Completed workshop for Level 1 training through Presicion Nutrition.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I do not have a set pricing system. I charge based on what services are needed and used. 


How did you get started teaching?

I've always been into fitness. I enjoy how working out and a good diet has helped my own self confidence and I want everyone else to love who they are inside and out! I started working on myself and soon after other people wanted help on what they should do in the gym and kitchen. 


What types of students have you worked with?

I have mainly worked with people who have known me before. They see what I've been achieving and they want to change for themselves or they needed help finding the motivation and finding a program that would work for them to lose those remaining stubborn pounds, or gain size and strength in a healthy manageable way.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Know what you want. And ask yourself, "How much do I want to acheive this goal of mine?" The first step is figuring out what you want and reaching out for the help. After that it's all about following simple steps laid out in a progressive and measurable way.
