My passion to learn and my desire to help people.
I have been in the fitness industry for 30 plus years, and have recently received a Master's in Yoga Therapy from The Kiavalya Yoga Method.
I also have and have held certifications from NASM, ACE, YMCA, the arthritis foundation, Pilates, Bikram, Cardio 2 programming, Cardio2 Coach, Certified Metabolic Specialist_New Leaf_Assisted Theraputic Stretching, Foundations of Life, Life Coaching, Healing Trama Meditation, Chakra Therapy Meditation. Opening of the third eye- Meditaion.
As I stated, I love to learn:). I take the knowledge and put it into practice for each individual I work with.
I am passionate helping People change their lives for the better! I work with every client from the Body, Mind, and Spirit perspective.(One would be surprised how much of our emotional stuff manifests itself in physical symptoms).
My purpose and passion is to help people live their best lives.. It is about reaching Your best and highest potential... and I am honored to be a part of that Journey!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first interview and do an individual assessment, to see how I can best assist you. This initial assesment helps us come up with our practice goals, as well as long-term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A Bachelors in Science from the university of Nebraska at Omaha.

I have had and currently have several different certificatetions in Personal Training, The YMCA Yoga Fit, Stott Pilates, Group exercise, Power Yoga, Flow Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Hot Yoga, LifeTime Fitness Cardio2 coach certificate, Medibollic assessment, Base Metabolic Rate, and life coaching...Many Meditation Cerifications...Chakra alignment therapy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing starts at $20, for a 15 minute session... If I am traveling to you-- add an additional $10 for up to 10 miles, or 20 minute drive.
30 Minute sessions are $45
45 minute sessions are $55
1 hour sessions are $70
* Special pricing for 2 or more sessions per week*
How did you get started teaching?
I started out in 1989, as a swim teacher, and water aerobics instructor. It started out as a way to pay for College, but I fell in love with being able to help people make real changes in their livesđź’ś
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a variety of clients. Ive trained people to do Iron Man Triathlons, Marathon, to the average Joe just trying to lose weight. I also work older clients, and clients that struggle with MS, Severe Arthritus and Parkinson's.

Graduating with a Masters in Yoga Therapy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you like the person, and make sure they can provide you with what you need.
Ask if the instructor has modifications for any underlying physical issues--ask for references-- Talk to current clients, ask them about the instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
We discuss where they are physically, and emotionally... I have them discuss their goals... Visualize what it would be like to achieve those goals-- how it feels, and then we come up with a plan.
