About this pro

I partner with you to create safe and nourishing home yoga and meditation practices for you that meet you exactly where you are and support you in your expanding journey.
My intention is less on striving for achievement or performance of a posture, and more on finding presence within a pose and sanctuary within our bodies and homes.
What sets me apart is my highly intuitive approach that takes your whole person into account, so that yoga becomes a  larger journey towards greater happiness, clarity of purpose, and immense life satisfaction.
My prayer is that yoga becomes a vehicle for creating centered spaces within yourself that ripple into your home, family, and larger communities, so that your own deep nourishment serves the whole of your life.

At heart, I am an Advocate for women realizing and reclaiming their inner light and soul sovereignty through the joruney of yoga & meditation.

I love using my gifts and talents to act as a spiritual field guide for women: I absolutely love to partner with those women called to heal her relationship with her self, begin to embody her innate cyclical wisdom, and start a life visioning process to wholeness, sovereignty and purpose. Even if the call is just a whisper at first, I believe that call is meant to be honored and heard.

My one-on-one mentorship, online and in-person trainings, courses, sacred circles and workshops specialize in embodiment practices that restore women’s healing ground, true north, and inner authority. I believe that by activating and nourishing the light of our shared divinity, we can together birth new, life-affirming paradigms that will help heal the soul of this world.

It starts with you and me. And its starts with being exactly whre you are, now, with acceptance and self-compassion. That, for me, is the heart of yoga.

Karen is such an amazing instructor. She not only got me to fall in love with yoga again, but she’s helped me in my personal spiritual journey as well. The one on one natal chart reading was amazing and I look forward to the women’s group every Tuesday. Highly recommend!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
  1. If you have further questions about whether working with me is a good fit, schedule a free 7 minute consult with me at Whether or not you choose to work with me with me, my intention is that you walk away nourished and empowered by our conversation.
  2. If you're ready to get started,  purchase and book a introductory single session or a package of six sessions.
  3. Come on over to my calendar to schedule your session. On average, we will schedule your sessions one to two weeks apart to allow time for practice & integration.
  4. After you've scheduled your session, you will receive a zoom link and/ or phone number for our session through email.
  5. Our session will take place via zoom!
  6. With your six session purchase, you will be supported in between sessions via your choice of email, text, voxer (audio exchange) or marco polo (video exchange) support.
  7. Get ready to dive into this beautiful investment into your own peace, wellbeing, wholeness and purpose!

How did you get started teaching?

I started my teaching journey about 20 years ago, when my love of the practice called me forward to help share it with others. I have been practicing, teaching, and continuing to expand my own yoga and meditation journey ever since!

What types of students have you worked with?

Owning a yoga studio for nearly nine years means that I have worked with all types of students! I have worked with complete beginners to more advanced - my favorite type of student is simply the one who is willing to grow! No matter what level we currently find ourselves, there is only the next right step and the next right way, for us, to move forward in our ever-expanding journey.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Every day, I am fond of watching my 5 year old daughter Selah move in her body with freedom, joy and ease. Children are the best examples of what real embodiment can look and feel like!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

-See if there is a good resonance between you. A good yoga partnership should inspire you to grow in all the ways that feel right for YOU! Though I bring my expertise to our sessions, I am always looking to help guide you towards your own inner wisdom, and ultimately, your own inner teacher. This is important!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

It's important that you be as clear and honest as possible about what you are hoping to gain from our sessions together. Often, that can be as simple as a quality that you'd like to bring forward into your life, such as peace, clarity, focus, or creativity.
-Where would you like to see yourself in 6 months or a year from now?
-What makes you feel grounded, rooted, and supported in your life?
-What inspires you to grow and expand?
-What kind of support would best equip you to grow in the direction of your greatest happiness and most authentic self?
-Where are you ready to bring healing and transformation?
-What might be holding you back?
