FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first step is to meet with or talk to the gymnast to understand the goals that she wants to accomplish.

Than I do a physical annalisys of the objective we wish to accomplish.

Next I will work out a step by step plan of attack to meet these goals and lastly I will set up a time frame that we will work in.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

i have been coaching, judging and choregraphing gymnastics for the past 28 years. I am required to attend clinics that will further my education in both gymnastics and judging every year. I attend these clincs both state wide, regionally, and nationally.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I regularly charge $75/hour for lessons and/or routine critiquing and between $200-400 for choreography of routines.

How did you get started teaching?

After my competitive college career was over, it was a natural progression into coaching, judging and choreography.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of students ranging in age from 3-23 and at all levels of the sport from recreational and competitive to cheerleaders

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Because I am both a coach and a judge, I have to right experience and knowledge to tackel any issue of gymnastics whether you want to achieve a new skill or advance to the next level. I can choreograph your next routines or critique them for better scores.
