For the last 15 years I have been teaching students in my studios in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Pietrasanta, Italy.
I conduct weekly the "Atelier Classes" in my studio teaching classical techniques and Academic methods that have been taught for many generations.
The "Master Workshop Series" are two or three all day workshops taught by me once a month.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We discuss their goals, experiences and favorite materials and styles.
I set up a personal study plan to help them accomplish what they want to learn.
At The Legacy Art Studio I have a vast collection of Art Books
and I encourage the students to learn by studying their favorite artists, styles and execution of techniques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended University of Puerto Rico for studies in Philosophy and Humanities, Bachelor in Fine Arts from University of Houston, Master in Fine Arts from the New York Academy, Post Graduate Studies in Marble carving from the Accademmia di Carrara in Italy. Apprenticeships with many Masters including Joseph Sheppard, Bruno Luchessi,Marcello Tommasi, Assistanships for Ivan Theimer, Anthony Visco, George Carr.
Worked as an assistant at Del Chiaro Foundry and Studio Cervietti. Have produced several monuments for Parks and Public Art.

$225.00for 4 threeour lessons, materials included.
$125.00 per day (minimun 4 students)
$50.00 per hour for private lessons
$250 for two day Master Workshops
$3,750 for "Living Among the Artists Sculpture Workshops" two weeks in Pietrasanta, Italy
How did you get started teaching?
I was an Assistant to different Professors at The New York Academy Master Programs.
People saw my work and wanted to learn from me.
Students visited my studio and wanted to learn the many techniques that I learned in Italy from Master Artists
What types of students have you worked with?
Drawing, Painting and Sculpture students from beginners to
advanced students.
Children and adults, as a mentor to developing artists, advisor to Artists developing a Professional Portfolio.
At Museum Schools, Public and private schools including summer Art camp.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My last Sculpting the Horse workshop at a Paso Fino Horse Ranch using the real Horses and a life size squeleton as teaching aides.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who has been selling their work and Art is their Profession and Passion.
