FA Soccer Coaching

Hi everyone! My name is Furkan Artar, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Fort Lauderdale soccer community. I bring a strong background as both a player and a coach, and I’m excited to share my experience to help young athletes grow on and off the field.

I was born and raised in Germany, where I played in the youth academies of Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Fortuna Düsseldorf—two of the top professional clubs in the country. After moving to the U.S., I continued my soccer journey at the University of West Florida and now at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), competing in one of the strongest NCAA Division II conferences.

In addition to my playing career, I have over two years of experience coaching youth teams at Rush Soccer in Fort Lauderdale. There, I’ve had the opportunity to train players of all ages and skill levels. My coaching style focuses on technical development, tactical understanding, and building confidence—while making sure every session is engaging and fun.

My international background allows me to bring a unique perspective to training. I understand what it takes to succeed at different levels of the game and how to motivate young athletes to reach their full potential. I’m committed to creating a positive environment that encourages learning, growth, and passion for the sport.
