What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student gets an introductory lesson for placement within their skill level
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our teachers have been certified by the National Piano Guild and are also members of the Music Teacher National Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes all lessons are paid for on the monthly basis.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my classmates in college, then once I finished school continued teaching, until I eventually opened my own school.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with students of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just had a fall recital.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be very specific with your teachers about your goals and expectations. Are you looking to play for fun? Play in a band? The more specific you are the better your teacher can help you get there! Keep in mind, you can't and wont learn everything over night but pratice makes what? Perfect.
