Passion for dance and how I will assist clients in their goals

In Dominican Republic, dance is a part of the culture and every day life. Born and raised there, I knew we dance to clean, to rejoice, to connect with others, to express feelings, or simply because we can’t help but follow the rhythm of music, of our bodies and our hearts. While dealing with hardships and negative feelings, I turned to the only thing that came naturally and effortlessly: to dance and move my body following its impulses and rhythmical patterns.

I know now, as I have always known: that dance heals. It’s non- competitive - it’s a tool for change, self expression - learning- communication - community building - integration of mind body and spirit - meditation - quieting the mind - calming the spirit.

It is my goal and intention to assist all to find their inner happy through dance and movement. Through fun creative exercises and classes, dance becomes a tool not just to “show off” your “rehearsed steps” but to quickly step into all that you are, embrace every part of yourself, build confidence, practice your very own happy moves, learn,

Integrate, express, connect... and heal in the process.

My services are for those looking to:

- Increase happy cells

- Recover your own power to manifest

- Increase self esteem

- Practice self awareness

- Heal the relationship with self and others

- Remember what dance is used for since the beginning of time

- Discover personal movement patterns and the meaning behind it

- Learn new ways of moving and therefore create new thought patterns

- Create and manifest positive emotions

- Explore self expression

- Meditatet

....Let me know how I can best serve and assist - YOU!

What I love the most about the work I do is : Connecting, Playing and Co- Creating with others through the power of movement, music and dance.

I love to assist others find their inner happy, their “aha” moments. I also enjoy reminding others why they dance.

Frequently asked questions

The process for working with a new client is always first getting to know the client and understandingj how I can better serve them and their needs. This can either be in person or over the phone. It also includes a conversation about how the process works and the options available to furfill their goals.

I have an Associates degree in arts from MDC kendall college and 4 years studies of Professional Dance with a focus in African/ Caribbean studies at FIU university in  Miami.

I embarked on a journey to find the healing in dance and studied Dance Movement Therapy in Barcelona Spain for 4 years.

The price is agreed upon between myself and the client depending on : time, location, and duration of services.

I began to teach when I was offered the opportunity to work with children and teenagers in the Miami school system, with hopes of sharing with them how dance can possitively affect their lives within school and after school.
