About
Passion for dance and how I will assist clients in their goals
In Dominican Republic, dance is a part of the culture and every day life. Born and raised there, I knew we dance to clean, to rejoice, to connect with others, to express feelings, or simply because we can’t help but follow the rhythm of music, of our bodies and our hearts. While dealing with hardships and negative feelings, I turned to the only thing that came naturally and effortlessly: to dance and move my body following its impulses and rhythmical patterns.
I know now, as I have always known: that dance heals. It’s non- competitive - it’s a tool for change, self expression - learning- communication - community building - integration of mind body and spirit - meditation - quieting the mind - calming the spirit.
It is my goal and intention to assist all to find their inner happy through dance and movement. Through fun creative exercises and classes, dance becomes a tool not just to “show off” your “rehearsed steps” but to quickly step into all that you are, embrace every part of yourself, build confidence, practice your very own happy moves, learn,
Integrate, express, connect... and heal in the process.
