I teach classical guitar, electric guitar, acoustic steel string guitar, ukulele, electric bass and music theory! Since 1996, I offer customized lessons suited to what the student wants to achieve without skipping over the fundamentals of music. I teach professionally to students age 4 through adult. Music degrees? Yep, I have a BM, MM, DMA in "music performance and literature."

In other words, "Got questions?" I have answers! :)

Lessons offered 7 days a week.

Pay as you go, no payments in advance required. No fees or bogus charges.

Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle all accepted.

I love the process of learning and when students "get it!" The "Ah-Ha!" is what I live for! Watching the long road of progress is very satisfying for student and teacher.

Corey is an extremely patient and effective teacher. He is very communicative and friendly; takes the time to make sure you learn things right and that they stick. I cant say enough good things about him.

What I liked about the BBC lass is that we were introduced various pieces that required skill with multiple techniques in playing the classical guitar. I feel as if I have become a more talented player and better understand music theory.

    Frequently asked questions

I usually ask a series of question from students in order to best understand where they want to be in 6 months to 1 year, etc. What is your playing experience? Lessons before? Other instruments played? What playing styles are you interested in learning? What type of music do you want to play? Favorite artists? What goals have you thought of for this week, month, first year of lessons?

After I have a picture of what you want to accomplish, then we can design a lesson plan for you to begin.

I teach guitar, ukulele, electric bass, and music theory. I've been teaching since 1996. I have BM, from FSU and MM, DMA degrees in music, as well as a "College & Community Teaching" certificate from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, NY. I am full time music/guitar faculty at Palmer Trinity School, Miami since 2007.

FREE initial lesson, and continuing lessons are $40 for 30 minutes $70 for 60 minutes.

I am from a family of teachers. I love the process of learning and helping others find their path.

Ages 11 through adult/senior. Beginners, hobbyists, amateurs, advanced players (yes, we still have more to learn!) ALL levels.

Find a teacher that cares, has experience/knowledge, and one who will answer your questions directly.

"How much time and days-a-week, am I willing to practice?"

"Can I commit to dedicating 6 to 12 months for myself to improve?"
