Hello parents/students, my name is Rob Jacot and I have been around the game of baseball for over 20 years. Currently I am an active duty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard but Baseball has always been my first love. I grew up in Northeastern North Carolina were I was an all-state pitcher and third baseman at Perquimans County High School. I continued my playing career at Division 2 Elizabeth City State University where I received All Conference honors in 2014 while graduating with a B.S. in Aviation Science. As a utility player in college, I have an added strategic advantage and first hand experience of playing multiple positions.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching the game of baseball and building a relationship with each of my students. Seeing my students improve and have success is what drives me to stay motivated each and every day. I enjoy using different techniques/workouts and video technology to enhance the students experience.
Rob worked with me back in 2013-2014 while he was in college. He primarily worked with me on hitting and pitching. His patience and ability to identify problems in my mechanics resulted in me increasing my pitching velocity and batting average over the summer and high school seasons. I recommend using Rob as a coach.
My process includes meeting the parents/student to learn about them and what they would like to focus on through this experience. I then will evaluate the student and develop lesson plans through what I see needs improvement.
Have attended multiple baseball camps throughout North Carolina.
$30/ per lesson
I did it as a side job throughout college but I have always enjoyed the relationships with the students and seeing to student improvement.
i have worked with all different types of age groups from little league to high school!
The College World Series is something I enjoy watching every year. The passion and quality of baseball is special to watch each summer.
