What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson is an evaluation and discussion to find out what the player is hoping to accomplish and what their long and short term goals are. This lesson usually last 60-90 minutes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 15 years of coaching High School baseball.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard lesson runs 45-60 minutes and the fee is $40
How did you get started teaching?
Played baseball and got into teaching when my son was born who is now a DII pitcher.
What types of students have you worked with?
Typically I work with ages 12-18 years old. I do work with some younger students, but not younger than 10 years old.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with the teacher first, ask lots of questions like their coaching philosophy and discuss your expectations.
