About
Ambidextrous shooter. I learned to shoot with both hands, as well as dribble and finishing. I've been playing my whole life, played JV 2 years and was starting point guard for Varsity 11th and 12th grade in high level large public school Miami basketball. Won most improved award for Varsity. I've also played in various summer leagues and played in intramural rec college.
I can say I feel like I'm always the most skilled on the court when you add everything up including finishing, dribbling, and shooting. Still though, I honestly kind of dislike what people can say about themselves because sometimes people can just talk themselves up. Because like, I can say I can shoot with both hands but you have to see it to see how true it is. I can still say though, that right now, my left handed shot is better than my right handed shot and in highschool/college I shot with my right hand, so take that how you want.
But that's why I like to let my game speak for itself. If you reach out we can play and see what I can offer, and I bet I could beat you with either hand. I'm also only 5'7 so I think that says something, for me to be able to compete in a tall man's game and still be able to outperform opponents. I still know some post moves though if you want to learn some. So yeah, I may not be the tallest or most athletic or strongest but I make up for it with skill and experience, where I've built up the knowledge in situations to know what moves to learn and which moves to execute in the moment. All of this being something that I can teach and show.
I'm also not an experienced trainer, so I don't have an rigid plan or structure I would take you through to evaluate skill or anything. Unless you pay me a high price, then I'll organize and optimize a whole routine/plan. But as for a middle-low level payment (see more explanation at the bottom), it would more just be a person to person, player to player type thing where I can see your level and show you things and what to do and what to learn. And then I can show you drills and we can do some. And then from there I can teach you more and more, branching off from the foundational things.
When it comes to kids, I think I'm pretty good with them, I enjoy teaching them. I have two younger cousins who I got into basketball and would show them and train them. It's probably the reason I'm willing to try this out in the first place. It wouldn't be too serious with kids, I think the important thing would just be playing, having fun and encouraging them. Probably just go with the flow and just play.
But yeah hit me up. If the training will take place at Veteran's Park or Durbin's Park, the minimum price for a minimum effort would be 5$/hr and the price for maximum effort will be 50$/hr. Depending on how much you pay, I will give my efforts accordingly. If the training is taking place somewhere else, inform me of the location and I will give a minimum price. Since, for example if someone is requesting training from me and they live 3 hours away, you gotta pay me a good amount of money to even go out there, you get what I'm saying? I believe in honesty and these are my honest answers. Hope we can work something out. Thanks
