For more than twenty years, we have developed the skill-set for Performing Arts specializing in, vocal music, acting, and public speaking. You will receive quality Performing Arts education in audition etiquette, voice technique, basic music theory, breathing control methods, and stage presence, performance, how to command the room, and sound career advice.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At the first meeting, I will take the time to get to know you creatively, what your goals are and what you hope to accomplish in the program, no two alike artists, so I don't waste the time trying to compare you to a well-known celebrity who does not require a copy. I look forward to bringing the best you out of your craft/ talent bringing your individual style and uniqueness to life creatively.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sharris has performed with greats such as Jennifer Holiday, the late pop singer Aaliyah, and Andy Williams. She has toured with Kenny Leon’s True “Color’s Theatre Company” and as a singer and dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
She has also performed in the touring Broadway musical “Fame”. Sharris New likes to throw a party when she is performing on the stage while provoking thought and providing an enjoyable time for her audience.

How did you get started teaching?
There was an opening at the music school that I took lessons at. From there I was hooked. I learn so much from my students

I've worked with, classical vocalist, pop, hip hop, rock, folk, gospel, country, Latin , actors, you name it, I worked with it all.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you hire a teacher that, appreciate the uniqueness you bring to the table, and that each lesson must be customized to fit your individual goals, gifts, and talent
