About
The game of basketball has been my life until I got married and had kids. My two boys are currently obsessed with the sport and both are above they're playing level for their age.
I believe in putting in the work, but learning the fundamentals first, so that when you build off that foundation, you're building a strong game.
I love putting in the work and enjoying the game afterwards. The game comes so easy to players when they put in the right work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to set up a phone call first, ask the players where they're at, what they'd like to learn, what expectations they have, and what goals they'd like to accomplish. Then I can offer my process, what I plan to do to help them, and ultimately see if we make a good fit. Then I would schedule the first training, break everything down, come up with a schedule, and do everything I can to help you accomplish your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing and studying the game of basketball since a very young age. I have played with some division 1 college players along with some players who have played over seas. I believe in teaching the fundamentals and allowing a player to grow into the best player they can be. Also, I have coached rec leagues, adult leagues, elementary, and middle school teams. I also have two boys who are currently on their basketball teams for school
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No, this is all dependent on how long our training sessions are, if I have to drive to you, how far I have to drive, and/or if you'd like to come to my house and train on my outdoor court.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching basketball since college. Having such a passion for the sport I have developed such an understanding for the game, I feel it is a gift I love to share with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all skills levels. I have worked and trained with kids who are just starting along with a few overseas professional players.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who will learn more about you first before teaching. A doctor cannot diagnose without first learning more about their patient. Training is the same way. Make sure your trainer knows your goals and your plans before drawing up a training regimen.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How long have you been training? Why do you love basketball? How far do you think you can help me grow? What is your best basketball skillset?
