About
Classically trained, I teach oil and acrylic painting across Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, and Armory Art Center. My focus is on adult lessons, from beginner to advanced. While I primarily works with adults, I accept advanced high school students in preparation for college applications. I am able to teach still life, abstraction, alla prima, indirect painting, figurative, and portraiture.
Everything.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I access the students goals in terms of what kind of painting they are interested in learning, and then I create a personalized syllabus that is designed to get each student to their goals. Depending on the experience of the student, students will begin with foundational skills (drawing with paint, color theory, color mixing), and then will move on to more complex subject matter (still life, painting from photos, or figure painting).
