About
I am a professional saxophonist/flutist in central Florida who gigs over 200+ dates a year. I freelance with original bands, wedding and corporate groups. I play in jazz, funk, R&B, reggae, soul, rock, songwriter, classical and world music styles.
I received my A.A. in Music Performance at Valencia College in Orlando (2012) before becoming the music tutor there for one school year from 2012-2013. I then studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and moved back to Florida. As of 2017, I relocated from Winter Park to Lakeland.
I've taught privately and at schools for both young and adult students for many years during this time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is catered to every student I instruct. Not one person learns the same exact way, therefore the methods and direction to pursue can vary from student to student. This is dependent on not only their skill level but in what they desire to learn. I like to make the learning process enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $40 an hour for lessons done at my home studio, with an extra $10 travel charge to the student's location. I prefer one hour lessons as it is not only the most beneficial to for learning but it's the most cost effective! This breaks down as followed:
1 hour - $40 / $50
45 minutes - $30 / $40
30 minutes - $20 / $30
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and skill levels!
As young as 7 years old and up to 65+. I've instructed school students from elementary/middle/high school/college as well an adult wanting to learn or get back into music. It's never too late (or early) to discover the joy of music!
