How did you get started teaching?
My love of photography and the desire to share this information with others. Many people purchase expensive digital cameras and have no idea how to use them. My goal is to show students how to use the buttons and dials to create images they will be proud to show! Learn to take photographs, not snaphots!
What types of students have you worked with?
All skills levels benefit from the Workshop. Every student, regardless of thier past experience have stated they have learned something new!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My greatest satisfaction is seeing the students have an aha moments when they master a concept or setting! All students are encouraged to send me photographs from the Safari for feedback to improve their images.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Not all photographers are teachers! My Workshop is geared to adult learners with visual materials and examples. The website www.cameracoachingseries.com has videos explaining how I teach.
