I have spent years in many different forms of professional artistry. I love mixed media concepts; integrating one form of craft into another. I use many methods and different practices to create unique results.
I love the ability to form connections with myself as well as those whom are impacted by my art. Symbolim has become such a deeply integrated language in my art. I enjoy creating a seemingly simple piece with symbolism bubbling underneath.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Going over the basics, depending on the medium that could involve wedging clay, prepping molds, painting gesso on a canvas. After we understand the basic needs, safety, cleanliness, and prep we decide our inspiration and vision for this piece. Next its choosing of materials, color scheme, embellishments and how to do so in a cohesive way. At this point we can start our project and step by step create a finished cohesive piece while understanding the steps, the process, and how to create a polished finished work.
