18+ years experience training clients. BS in Biology (Premed) from the US Air Force Academy. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Certified Personal Trainer. Certified Senior Fitness Specialist.

We have a variety of options to meet the budget needs of our clients.
How did you get started teaching?
After transforming my own health through proper nutrition and exercise, I started moonlighting as a personal trainer in New York City over 18 years ago. I loved it so much, I left the security of my management job and started TrYumph Fitness in 1998.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, abilities, and goals. I've worked with professional athletes and Miss America contestants. Most of my clients are men and women 30 - 60 years of age trying to lose weight and/or improve health.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Helping a client with Type 2 diabetes cut her A1C score in half in 6 weeks and getting to reduce her medications. Priceless!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for experience in the profession. The best qualifying question you can ask is: how long have you been personal training professionally? Only the trainers passionate about helping others last in this profession.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What health and fitness goals are you truly motivated to accomplish and in what timeframe?
