My students range in age from 5 to 77 years old. I teach piano as well as French horn. I tailor my instruction as to what the goals of each student are. A students passion and reason for playing are also a consideration in my approach to teaching. My music business, is all about meeting the needs of my students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, determine the students goals and experience level, then, tailor their course of study based on their goals and experience level. I communicate via texting or phonecall.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied music in Chicago and in Michigan.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
In my studio, $25 per half hour. In home teaching is $35 per half hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching music both professionally and as a volunteer my entire life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children using piano as occupational therapy for fine motor skills....met much success.....also have worked with all kinds of personalities.

The privilege of playing a Christmas In July program in July of 2023.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Expect me to work with you based on your personality, wants and needs. I am NOT a one size fits all teacher. I'm a come alongside and assist my students with musical goals or dreams
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you a ducks in a row type of person or a creative person? Very important in choosing the method I use to teach you.
