About
Hello! My name is Alexandra Rey and I am an experienced artist with over 20 years of professional experience. I specialize in hyper-realistic drawings, as well as abstract and landscape paintings in oils and acrylics.
I am excited to announce that I will be teaching art classes to share my passion and knowledge with aspiring artists like you. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist looking to improve your skills, my classes are designed to cater to all skill levels.
During my classes, I will be sharing my techniques and methods for creating realistic or abstract drawings and paintings, as well as providing guidance on color theory, composition, and other important aspects of art. You will also have the opportunity to practice your skills in a supportive and inspiring environment, and receive personalized feedback and critiques from me.
My classes are not only a great opportunity to learn new skills and techniques, but also a chance to connect with other artists and build a community of like-minded individuals. I believe that everyone has the potential to create beautiful works of art, and my goal is to help you realize your full potential as an artist.
If you're interested in joining my art classes, please reach out to me for more information. I look forward to meeting you and helping you unleash your creativity!"
A few things I enjoy about my work:
The process of creating and teaching how to bring ideas to life. Seeing your vision take shape on the canvas. You may find joy in experimenting with different materials, techniques, and styles, and seeing how they interact to create unique and beautiful works of art.
The opportunity for self-expression: Art allows you to express yourself in ways that words cannot. I enjoy the freedom to explore my own thoughts, emotions, and experiences through my work, and the ability to communicate these to others through art.
The satisfaction of creating something from nothing: Creating art from scratch is a challenging and rewarding process. You may find satisfaction in the fact that you are using your imagination and skills to create something entirely new and original, something that did not exist before you put brush to canvas.
The ability to communicate with others: Art has the power to communicate ideas, emotions, and experiences in a way that is universally understood.
The joy of sharing your passion: As an artist, I enjoy the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge with others. Teaching art can be a way to inspire and motivate others to explore their own creativity, and to share in the joy of creating something beautiful and meaningful.

Schedule a consultation with the art teacher before committing to lessons. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your goals and expectations, and get a feel for the teacher's teaching style and personality. This can help ensure that you are a good fit and can work well together to achieve your artistic goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1-What are my artistic goals and aspirations?
2-What specific skills do I want to improve or learn?
3-What is my current level of proficiency in my chosen medium or style?
4-What are the specific challenges I am facing in my art practice?
5-What are my preferred learning methods and styles?
6-How much time and resources am I willing to invest in my art education?
7-What are my expectations for the teacher-student relationship?
8-How can a teacher help me achieve my artistic goals and overcome my challenges?
By answering these questions before talking to a teacher, students will have a clearer understanding of their own needs and goals, and will be better equipped to communicate them to the teacher. This can help the teacher tailor their lessons and teaching style to the specific needs and goals of the student, leading to a more productive and rewarding learning experience.
