I've helped hundreds of students become the best that they can be. Most become first chair in their school band or orchestra. I teach the fundamentals that will strengthen performance and confidence. I am as much a coach as a teacher. I can help with jazz, country, salsa and classical styles. I've performed with top entertainers and recording artists in Hollywood and toured the world over. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like t to find common ground. Similar likes and dislikes. Funny things that we've seen in movies or on TV. I then find out what goals we want to achieve and begin to inspire that in the imagination
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education and training was with the late great It's Pendler of NYC who coached the late great Leanard Bernstein conductor of the NYC Philharmonic Orchestra. I also trained at the N.Y. La Guardia High School of Music & Arts. Then finished my education at Brooklyn College NYC and then went on the road where the real education kicked began.
