How did you get started teaching?

I Started teaching 20 years ago, here in my studio, after realizing that nobody in this area was teaching the techniques of the old masters that are so valuable and useful.

At the same time I was teaching at Michaels' Art and Supplies store for several years.

Today I am teaching from my studio only and enjoing to interact with my students.

What types of students have you worked with?

I worked with hundreds of students throughout my career as an art instructor. Most of them complete beginners. My youngest student was 10 years old and the oldest 85!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
