Bianca Grassi
About
Hello, my name is Bianca Grassi. I am 24 years old, and I have been playing volleyball since I was 8 years old. I started in Italy, where I am originally from, and at the age of 16 years old I started playing professional volleyball in Italy, playing for the league B. After four years of playing professionally, I came to the United States to continue playing at collegiate level, where I just finished my last season at St Thomas University as a libero. During my career, I started playing volleyball as an outside hitter, and then I changed my position at 15 years old to play professionally in a higher division. I also coached for FLT club in Miami, for a U17 team, and I have been doing volleyball clinics for any positions for 2 years.
My coaching style combines having fun, while learning and focusing on the details and getting better.
I believe that what motivates young girls and boys when learning a new sport is mosty enjoy playing and having fun while practicing, and this is the main focus I want to bring into a lesson, combined with giving the right feedback and direction.
