What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I ask the new student to take a placement test and depending on the level I prepare personalized classes where all 4 English skills are met.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught English for over 20 years and have graduate level studies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard price for 1 student per class is $60 USD per hour, for 2 students in the same class is $105 USD per hour, and for 3 or more is $150 USD per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a corporate trainer in a company and a university director of the foreign languages department asked me to help her back in 1998.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types and nationalities. The youngest one being 7 and the oldest being 96.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that there is chemistry within both teacher and student, otherwise, classes may become monotonuous.
