Dominic's Dynamic ESL
About
I enjoy helping learners of English as a Second Language with all aspects of becoming fluent-grammer, structure, pronunciation, expression, vocabulary, etc. I have a 100-hour certificate in ESL from Oxford Seminars, a leading provider in the field. Having studied Spanish and German myself, I understand the challenges of studying a new language. My skills have been further developed by several years of private singing lessons, where I learned techniques for better pronounciation through singing in different languages. My musical training has also taught me to be a highly attentive and responsive listener. I attended the University of Miami, where I earned a BFA in Visual Arts, with minors in Art History and Philosophy.
I am extremely patient, and have a strong commitment to everything I undertake. My teaching method is highly flexible depending on the individual student's needs and progress.
I look forward to helping many become confident speakers, readers, and writers of English.
I enjoy seeing my students progress and become better able to communicate well in English. It makes other aspects of life so much easier and adds to the enjoyment of everyday experiences.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A phone interview for mutual understanding of goals and expectations; this will also give me an idea of their current level of spoken English. First lessons will include additional assessment of skills, emphasizing those apects (grammar, writing, comprehension, etc.) that are most important to the individual.
