Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Creativity Should be Expressed! Never limited ~ Email me regarding your Photographic Inquiries.
We will discuss Interests and Styles in Photography. Whether or not it is for Hobby or Career.
We will Decide on Location to Meet and Shoot. Photography is best learned 'In the Field' as we say in the Industry.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Albert Watson always said "Always Bounce your Lighting" to soften the Face. There is always much to Learn, for Example, How to White Balance.
Should you use a White Card, Grey Card, Warm or Cold tones to Shoot...
I have been shooting Professionally, in the field over 20 years, in Studio & on Location. We always prefer shoots to be 'Lit' This requires Strobe Lighting, which must be White Balanced & Color Balanced.
Available Light is Used on Location (outdoors) and Also requires White Balance.
Lighting can be 'bounced', 'Filled' aka 'Fill Light', 'Blocked" aka GoBo'd, backlit, and Over head which is done with a 'Boom Light', which is a strobe light attached to a 'Boom" arm on a large tripod.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Not all schooling teaches you what you need to survive in the Industry. Learning in the Field has always taught me more than I ever learned in School, but I cherish my College Photography Professors for how they added to my life and my Art ;}
I am So Happy to be Able to Share my knowledge of Photography. It is my craft and part of Who I am. I will shoot until the day I die ~
