About this pro

I am your Total Resource Center for everything photographic. Are you purchasing your first camera and confused with all the hype and specifics? I can help. Do you currently own and want to build upon, but not sure what direction to take? I can help. Do you want to become a photographer and not just a snap shooter? I can help.

I am also available for purchase recommendations, individual training sessions (take that dial off of AUTO), class and group seminars, on location help, image archiving and software questions.

Established in 2010.

Coming from the retail camera market, I began to realize how frustrated the average consumer felt when it came to making a camera decision and purchase.  Though the information was readily available through various photo magazines and internet sites, the consumer would be overwhelmed due to the language and technology instilled within the market.

I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2010 and a few months prior to managing a retail camera store, I was able to advertise a service by introducing the new camera buyer to their purchase.  By offering them a two hour camera specific lesson, my new friends now have a much broader sense and understanding of their camera, function and operation.

PRC of South Florida LLC is now a full service, consumer based business.  We are here to guide you and teach you, starting with purchase recommendations and continuing through camera specific instruction,  photography fundamentals, groups sessions,  on site shooting activity and on going mentoring.

Steven was great. The first 2 hours we sent over details of my camera and a mini-course on photography and then the third hour we took real pictures for my Teabloom products. Highly recommended!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Introduction to the camera. I want my students off of Auto mode. Shooting in manual mode would be accomplished by the third lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Shooting well over 40 year's. I've held positions within the US Government as a photographer. I've been published in a variety of magazine's, most recently Fort Lauderdale Magazine. My genres are Portrait, Lifestyle and Small Events.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

All my lessons are a two hour minimum. First time we meet, 65.00/hour. If you would like to continue with more lessons, I drop the fee to 50.00/hour.

What types of students have you worked with?

Diverse in age, some with no knowledge and others with substantial abilities.
