Hello, my name is Brian Gonzalez. I’m currently the assistant pitching coach and Director of Pitching Analytics at Nova Southeastern University. I’ve played 10 years of Professional baseball with the Orioles, Rockies, Nationals and Padres. During that time I grew a passion for wanting to help pitchers become the best version of themselves. I’ve been able to learn and apply analytics to my athletes so they can understand who they are as a pitcher. I believe the foundation of a great pitcher is moving the body properly and being able to rotate efficiently. I’ll help guide the athlete so we’re taking advantage of their strengths! Every lesson comes with a proper warmup, movement screening , bullpen and arm care. Everything is individualized and catered around each athlete. Please feel free to reach out to me at any point! Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I start my lessons by asking for a recent video and provide a breakdown so we both understand what our objectives are to progress. Once we meet, we’ll go through drills and different cues to attack the adjustments we need to make!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve played profession baseball for 10 years reaching AAA and still actively playing. Currently serving as an assistant pitching coach at a D2. NSU.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Standard lessons start at $80 a session. I have monthly programs available that include a full throwing program with a velocity phase , workouts , and mobility. (Contact me for more information) Or I provide online services through my seamsup page. Link in my profile. This is great for quick mechanical breakdown or a simple throwing program catered to your needs. Also do group sessions for teams ! $30 a player

What types of students have you worked with?

I’ve worked with Major leaguers all the way down to 9 year olds.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure the coach doesn’t do the same thing with every single player! Every athlete is different who requires different tools and drills to get them better. It’s not a one size fits all!
