About
Sofia is a professional Yoga instructor certified by Yoga Aliance USA and teaching is her biggest passion.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Sofia earned her Law Degree and worked for years in civil law field.
Eventually, In 2017 she decided to change her life and move to India where she was lucky to receive traditional Yoga teaching and training from experienced Indian Yoga teachers and practitioners.
Sofia spent years travelling and discovering different Yoga styles in India (Rishikesh, Kerala, Dharmsala and New Delhi), Nepal, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. And now she shares her wisdom with her students all over the world.
Currently based in Miami, she teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Power and Slow Flow Yoga in both private settings and group classes. She also leads group yoga classes at Synergy Yoga Center, Miami beach.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I advise to look for a teacher who:
- studied Yoga in India
- do not have a huge experience (it seems strange but young instructors have more passion for teaching and give all the best in the classroom)
- do hands on adjustments
