About
I teach creativity from the heart and spirit
I promote the uniqueness of every individual and encourage self-development
We do not paint the same picture as often is the case in 'Sip and Paint'. I teach technique, style, possibilities and often we study the style of specific contemporary artists to learn from.
I have a BFA from Univeristy of South Florida and a
MFA from Florida State University
I have taught hundreds of art classes mostly at private institutions, art centers, as an adjunct and in adult education programs. This has been a life long and rewarding journey. My student's success is my pride.
Mainly its creativity and different result every time.
I love my students and seeing their success is what I strive for and what is most satisfying to me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I only give private lessons upon request, otherwise I teach a group of students between 6 and 12.
We start with a settling in and focus time, getting grounded maybe with a meditation, some breathwork or a small physical release exercise.
Then I explain the class content of the day and what we can expect to be doing. We all start on the project together.
If a student is new I spend personal time with him/her from the very beginning of the class by introducing them, making them feel comfortable and guiding them in their painting experience as much as needed. I encourage him/her to ask as many questions as needed and give them plenty of verbal support.
