I have been a painter for all my life and I was definitely born to create. I believe we all were, some are just more in touch with their creativity. It's about playing and experimenting and getting into your creative right brain. I teach classes on drawing and painting and teach all mediums. I believe anyone at any skill level can learn to "draw" out their inner artist. Come create with me and find joy and have fun exploring the artist within. I have 20 years of teaching experience and have sold my own canvases and prints. I have done murals and portraits of people and animals. My favorite art though is always from the heart.     I typically asess the skill level of each student first and ask them what their goals are. During the first session I have them do some basic exercises to get into their creative brain which enhances ability and creativity. I like to leave my students with homework every time especially studying other famous artists technique. You will learn how to mix colors and discuss composition. Every student is different so my approach changes accordingly. I'm very flexible and encouraging. I love art and want to draw that same love out of every student.

    I have trained with several European artists and taken a few classes myself but am mostly self taught.

    $30 for a half hour to 45 minutes 

    I prefer an hour and start at $50 for 1 hour

    I started after high school teaching my friends at first then groups and individuals.
    I've worked with all ages and skill levels.
    Look for someone who has technical ability but mostly the ability to have fun and encourage you to paint what thrills you and experiment.
