About this pro

I have been a photographer since I was 14 years old. Photography is my passion.  Over the years I have photographed fashion, fitness and fine art images.  I have traveled the world to capture amazing images to exhibit in galleries.

I will teach you how you can photograph eye-catching images and showcase your photography in an art show.

I enjoy creating images of moments that are not only memorable to the subject, but to the eye-of-the-beholder.  I especially enjoy seeing my photography published and on display in an art gallery.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The student will receive hands-on camera and studio lighting training.  The goal is for the student to be knowledgeable and confident on creating a successful image(s) to exhibit in an art show.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have many years experience as a published photographer.  I have worked with several named-brand companies and have produced a plethora of photo shoots in my career.  I am Vice President of ArtsUnited, an arts organization in South Florida.  I encourage my students to not take pictures, but to make photographs.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching my friends who were curious about how the digital camera works.  That lead to several classes I have taught over many years.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students from ages 9 - 79.  Many have showcased their art photography in exhibitions.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

A recent event that two of my students were awarded for their photography.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

There are many teachers out there, make sure you find the teacher who not only is good what he/she does, but for the connections they have to help guide you to a successful career or a fun hobby.
