Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is very important for each one of our instructors to understand what the student is looking to achieve, their musical interests, & goals. Our instructors choose to work within the students parameters while challenging, motivating, and inspiring along the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a wide range of instructors who have received education from private studies & major universities. Our instructors continue to play professionally within the Orlando music scene, Disney & Universal Theme Parks and local recording studios.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have several different lesson packages to suit your short or long term musical goals. All pricing is for 1/2 lessons, once per week and begin at $23 to $30 per half hour and range from a 4 week program up to 48 weeks. 1 hour lessons are available.
How did you get started teaching?
All of our instructors began at early ages teaching privately as young adults. As they continued their careers, some went on to teach at universities and private instructional institutions across the world.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with inspiring musicians of all ages....even beginnning at the age of 4! Our students are the reason for being here and our instructors understand the patience, flexability and creativity needed to help everyone. Beginner to experienced, hobbyist or pro, we are ready to help you!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Each of our instructors would have different life events to share with you. With that said, within our George's Music Lesson Program, some of our fondest memories are our In-House Student Performances in which we get to see the student and their families light up with enjoyment from their performances.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As much effort we put into selecting the best teacher for you, we invite you to do the same by understanding what it is you want to achieve, what motivates you, what type of personality encourages you, and communicate openly with your teacher or our staff along the way. Everyone on our team wants the same success and musical enjoyment for you as we all have had in our lives!
