About
Being able to have the ability to help someone physically and mentally is what makes this opportunity so valuable to me. I am an instructor for a local martial art dojo that specializes in self-defense and basic combat, in addition to weapons such as nunchuck and bow staff. I like to make every lesson fit whoever I am training, everyone's physical limitation is different and I want to help you push through them. I have been doing martial art for over 10 years and experience in training kids and seniors.
I have 2 little sisters that I am proud of. For everyone I help, I want to see them exceed and reach their goal. The feeling of helping makes me happy, the feeling that I impact someone makes me happy. Being able to motivate someone and help them be better, faster, smarter, or stronger makes me enjoy my job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I want to know what they know, want to learn, their physical limitation to figure out what is the best way we can proceed. Everyone is different with different skill sets, if we can use that to our advantage, it will be the learning experience much more efficient.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been training for over a decade, started "instructing" a few years ago, and previously was an elementary/middle school tutor. I have a lot of experience with kids, training anyone in any age group, self-defense, basic combat and take down, and weapons.
What types of students have you worked with?
Right now I am an instructor for a local dojo working with students from kids to seniors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't go for a teacher that teaches the same with other students, you are unique with your own set of weaknesses and strengths.
