Miss Hoffman - Math Teacher

Experience: I have a BS in Math Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Two years of substitute teaching, 16 years with Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL, and I homeschooled my son from kindergarten through 6th and 11th-12th (his father insisted on experimenting with public school).

I employ the EDGE method of teaching (explain, demonstrate, guide, encourage/enable).

I love that moment when the light bulb goes on and my student "gets it."
