Hello, my name is Oksana Pankiv and I am a professional musician.I've been playing cello and piano for 28 years. I've studied music in Europe and in the United States. I understand different schools of music theory and solfege. I offer Cello and Piano lessons of all levels. I am classically trained but I teach classical, pop, rock and jazz styles.
I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds. I ask them what they goals are and help them acheive them. Everyone learns differently and in their own way and pace. I enjoy finding the right approach and also work with students with disabilities. My students never play music they don't like.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I ask them about their background in music and what music they like and what they want to learn. If they are a beginner we start with a warm up of scale(s) and etudes then we just a piece of music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelors of Music from Stetson University and 13+ years of teaching experience students ages 2 - 75.
