My name is Matt Judkins and I provide baseball lessons for those ages 7-18 who are looking to improve in hitting, throwing, defense, and position play. All abilities are welcome!
I will provide honest feedback with suggestions and tips on how to improve as a baseball player.
I have coached baseball from tee ball age to professional players and currently I'm the head coach at Palm Beach Gardens High School. My coaching resume includes Coach of the Year awards from media outlets, such as the Palm Beach Post and High School Baseball Network.
Lessons are conducted at our high school field in Palm Beach Gardens, one of the premier facilities in the area.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process starts with evaluating the new student/athlete's current skills and making an overall assessment. The next step would be to set goals of where the student/athlete wants to accomplish in the short and long term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10+ years coaching at the high school level, have previously worked with other high school, travel and college coaches at camps and clinics. Certified through the American Baseball Coaches Association and USA Baseball. My playing career also spanned from tee ball through four years of college baseball. This past season I was fortunate enough to win area Coach of the Year from the Palm Beach Post, Sun Sentinel- Palm Beach, High School Baseball Network - Palm Beach and was nominated for Coach of the Year by USA Today.
How did you get started teaching?
I started my coaching journey in while playing college baseball, clinics and camps were my first formative experiences.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, from t-ball to collegiate athletes!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Honesty is key! Baseball is an every day sport that requires a consistent effort on a daily basis in order to be great. We live in a "microwave" society where results are demanded quickly- trust the process!
