What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am always encouraging with every new student. I often spend extra time getting to know them and understanding their desires and goals and look to offer the classes that will most likely benefit them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Ballet Master, professionally trained in Classical Ballet with numerous dance scholarships to study abroad. I was a Principal Dancer for the Scottish American Ballet for 6 years under the Direction of Alexander Bennett, former dancer of the Royal Ballet of London.
I have been dancing and performing throughout the world for over 35 years.
I settled in the Tampa Bay area in 2002. I have been a teacher of dance in the area since that time.

I offer a variety of Dance class packages including
Drop-In, Dance cards, and unlimited monthly class study packages.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching as a junior teacher at the age of 14, as a way to pay for my dance scholarship. I taught Saturday morning Children's Dance Classes
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels and ages of students including National and International Workshops, weekly studio classes, professional dance classes including production and cast. 10 years as a professional ballet coach and 3 years in a public charter school of the Arts K-5.

Nutcracker We are currently rehearsing the Nutcracker for December Performances
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Dance is a very dynamic and inspiring art form! It is so important to follow through with technique through all dance studies. It is very important to have a knowledgeable teacher who understands the technique and development of core strength and movement.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they personally want to achieve from their dance training? What they are willing to invest in their training?
