About this pro

I Have taught for more that twenty five years now, and have help my students to become professional dancers if that was their wish. Please google Yoshiko Kamikusa ( Principal Dancer at Indiana Ballet), Mark Tucker ( Principal Dancer at Eugene Ballet) Costa Allen (Principal Dancer at Dutch Ballet). I concentrate on understanding which are the strengths and weaknesses of my students and that is were I begin the process of teaching. I help them to understand and overcome their weaknesses in the learning process and to have fun and love the process. Ballet is the best because it involves deep concentration and extreme physical activity. No better feeling than achieving this goal, and I am truly an expert on helping students to achieve their maximum potential.

One of the things I love the most in life is teaching Ballet to students that want to learn it; since I have devoted my life to Ballet, after retiring as a professional dancer, my passion for teaching grew more and more each year. I love seeing the process of awareness and development in the students, how they learn to become one with their body and their movements; also love to see how they recognize the music and make them one with the movement; I love to guide them through the awareness and development  of each step until their technique becomes solid and they can really enjoy the quality of what they have achieved. Helping students to become the best of whom they can be is one of my greatest joy in life. Please google , please see the Ballet School I founded and directed for many years.

About my formation as a dancer, I started learning Ballet at the age of eight years old and became  a professional ballet Dancer in Peru at the age of eighteen , danced professionaly in Ballet Nacional de Peru, in Statische Buhne Hagen in Germany and tour around Europe for several years; also danced professionally in Ballet Hawai’i. I started teaching part time for a few years but when I turned thirty years old I became a full time teacher, and eventually the director of my own Ballet Schoolschool. I have taught at the National Ballet School in Peru as a guest teacher, at Ballet Hawai’i,  at Alive Ballet Academy in Hawai’i at AAA of Ballet in Florida.

She pushes you to the next level and while strict is always loving in her teaching. She taught me ballet but she also taught me life lessons. Her corrections always helped me to master steps and improve my techniques and her combinations never get boring although simple.
