About
I am now retired after a lifelong journey in basketball and education. My playing career began at the city and junior high school levels, continued through high school, and culminated at the Division I level with the University of Hawaii. Following college, I played professionally overseas for 17 years, gaining invaluable experience and perspective.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and spent over 14 years leading youth development programs in the United States and Puerto Rico, helping young athletes of all backgrounds reach their full potential through strong fundamentals, discipline, and personal growth.
As head coach of the men’s basketball team at CCBC Dundalk, I guided the program to a State Championship in 2004 and was honored twice as Coach of the Year. My coaching experience also includes serving as a girls’ basketball coach at a local high school in Florida, as well as working numerous basketball camps and clinics across Maryland, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
My lifelong focus has been the growth and development of student-athletes—both on and off the court. My career ambition was to coach professionally overseas or at the collegiate level in the U.S. However, without the benefit of political connections or a “buddy system,” I faced barriers that redirected my path toward teaching and real estate investment.
Today, I channel those same lessons of perseverance and resilience into writing self-help and educational books, including How to Win in Court Without a Lawyer—a reflection of my real-life experience confronting and overcoming a system often stacked against the everyday individual.
