About
Lessons take place in my studio or I travel to my students home as a convenience to busy parents.
I love sharing the joy of making music and watching a beginning student grow in skills through the months and years. It's very gratifying to listen to a student play and know that I have shaped a persons knowledge and appreciation of the arts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are typically excited to learn a song when they first begin so it's important to get acquainted with the keyboard by learning the keyboard alphabet and how to use their fingers. I want a new learner to leave the FIRST lesson being able to play a song!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taught elementary school for 10 years and piano for over 20 years. I'm a member of the Sarasota Music Teachers Association which offers the opportunity for professional growth as well as opportunities for the student to participate in local as well as state events such as recitals and the annual Florida Student Day Activities.
