I teach authentic Yoga not just Asana (postures). I share the ancient practice of Yoga which aims at aligning the mind, body & soul. My class includes Pranayam (breathing exercise), Asan (physical exercise) and Dhyan (meditation). During sessions I talk about various deeper concepts of Yoga according to Ashtanga Yog (8 limbs of Yog). I share everything I know since yoga doesn't end at your mat, it's a way of life❤️🙏🏻
I am passionate about understanding the deeper meaning of life hence I started searching for answers. The journey took me to reading many books, researching science and brought me to spirituality. I now understand the s hence behind Yoga. I love sharing the ancient wisdom in a scientific way along with Yoga and talking about health, happiness and wellbeing in the most organic and natural way. I emphasize in breathing which is the most important aspect of health & wellbeing. I love interacting with people and I love helping them live a happier, healthier & meaningful life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do my first session at a beginner level and then go from there. I like to meet the person where they are at❤️🙏
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a public health dentist with 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification. I have done extensive research into health and spirituality. I share information backed up by science about how to keep ourselves aligned in mind, body & spirit and thrive! I also share wisdom from 5000 year old Ayurvedic (ancient) ways of eating and lifestyle tips which are proven by science today for well being and longevity.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have experienced in my own journey that Yoga is not a quick pill but a slow and steady way to improve your health and well-being. I prefer students who are committed to this learning process and commit to 4/5 sessions before they quit. Average rate for private one to one hourly session is $100 but I am willing to do an initial talk with you if you cannot afford and I have a sliding scale for that❤️🙏
How did you get started teaching?
I had eye issues at age 14, and was told that I would not be able to see again. At that time I did not believe my doctors and had a firm belief that I will be able to see, and I did!! Now I understand that the universe was trying to teach me that our minds are more powerful than our bodies. After 15 years of working with medical industry I felt a gap that needed to be filled- an emphasis on prevention and making people understand that their health is in their hands. Last year, to start on this journey I went to India and completed a month long yoga certification program- which not only taught me yoga (asana) but the deeper concepts of thriving this human experience❣️
What types of students have you worked with?
have worked with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I have enjoyed working with people with any physical ailments, stress related issues. I have also enjoyed working with children❣️
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I was at my morning Yoga class when a student returned after attending two sessions and expressed gratitude for now she was sleeping better and was more aware of her negative thoughts and was able to turn them around.
