Welcome to my flute studio, where music is more than notes on a page. My teaching philosophy revolves around three pillars: Research, Exploration, and Discovery. We delve into the history, theory, and composer's intent (research), explore body awareness for efficient playing (exploration), and foster the joy of making unique musical discoveries. I aim to awaken the scientist in each student, emphasizing that success comes from personal growth and understanding. I'm deeply influenced by pedagogues who taught me the value of research and self-exploration. My mission is to guide students towards their musical joy and equip them for lifelong musical journeys. Together, we form a supportive flute community, learning faster and fuller, belonging to something greater than ourselves.
