Pitching Lessons By Marc Valdes

Marc is a great teacher for younger kids. Hes very patient and has an easy going personality and shows genuine concern with his athletes. He asks how theyre doing and how theyre games went. For our boys he started with an analysis of their mechanics and then devised a plan to build off that analysis. He goes through proper warm ups and strength excercises at the beginning. Then takes time to demo and explain, at a level younger kids understand, the activities and movements for the lesson. Great teacher and great guy, highly recommend!

Both of my sons really connected with Marcs awesome approach to make them feel at first comfortable and then very confident. One son went on to pitch for his league Championship at fourteen and he had been trying since T-Ball. Hes super excited for more lessons and making the high school team!!

Marc teaches the mental side of the game which is just as important as the physical side. My son also learned various warm up exercises that Marc taught to make sure his arm is warmed up prior to pitching. Working on leg exercises and pitching techniques enables my son to grow physically and be in control on the mound. Looking forward to this summer to work on ball control and movement. My son felt very comfortable with Marc and actually listened to what he recommended. Marc was able to pinpoint some areas in his delivery that needed improvement, and he gave my son some excellent tips and exercises for him to work on at home.
